This 2008 efi Switchback 700 is the best sled I have ever had in the 25 plus sleds I have owned. It has always started, and never had a mechanical problem or accident.
Magazine editors this year have stated the "2008 Switchback" to be the best trail and ditch model available in Polaris' entire line-up and I agree.
It's 136" rear suspension is decidedly better than last year's skid, (and 95% of all the trail sleds on the market), with exceedingly better maneuverability than last year's!
The price is $7,900 ( vs. $9,400 US / $12,400 CAN) which I am firm on.
The dynamic on this crossover sled is also it's incredible handling and power (with a stock 140hp twin cyl. engine that does not like to be beaten by other 700's or 800's).
I changed out the handlebars for the more comfortable and better leveraging straight handlebars with hooks. The sled is stock and perfect! It is fuel-injected, with reverse, and that incredible 1 1/4" Ripsaw track.
I bought it about 2 months ago, so there is alot of warranty left on it until into December of next year!
