HCR 800 TURBO!!!!
The mountain will call you "sir." With a new H.O. 800 engine, it's the ultimate Expert-Grade Mountain Sled with one goal in mind: Taking that hill with miraculous mountain ergonomics. An independent 3rd party, DynoTech Research, easily saw 160 HP. That's 10% more HP than last year. An adjustable 42-44” ski stance allows for perfect balance while the M Series chassis creates the ultimate deep-powder ride. A Power CIaw™ track with harder 90 durometer has a deeper harder punch when gunning up the steepest mountains. AWS™ VI double-wishbone front suspension has lightweight. preload adjustable titanium springs to smooth out the trail. And the new lightweight seat is a high-rise design that puts you closer to the ready position as the mountain bows down before you.
Fox Float® Rear Skid: Torsion springs are history. This redesigned frame decreases unsprung weight and reduces unwanted track tensioning. Two rear-mounted wheels inside the rails increase track flexibility and improve sidehill capabilities. The rear end is dampened with a lightweight aluminum FOX® Zero Pro gas shock on the front arm and a FOX Float® shock on the rear arm.
H.O. 800 - The 800 engine is a 2-stroke, 794cc liquid twin with batteryless electronic fuel injection. An engine "laid down" in the chassis moves snowmobile mass toward the ground and effectively lowers the center of gravity. BEFI adjusts for temperature and altitude. In 2010, we've powered up every 800 engine for an increased 10% more HP over last year. An independent 3rd party, DynoTech Research, easily saw 160 HP. Engine reverse is also standard on the 800. There's also a new exhaust pipe, manifld, resonator and a lightweight crankshaft.
Engine Reverse: Push—button electronic reverse gets even better. As a feature of the engine, not only is it quick, it's also a weight saver that sheds nearly 8 pounds.
90 Durometer Power Claw™ Track: This track is the same design M series Power Claw™ Track only with a stiffer 90 Durometer coupound to provide added traction up the competition hill.
42"-44" Adjustable Ski Stance: Designed to give you the stability required when carving up the competition hill.
Telescoping Handlebar: Our Mountain handlebar gets a new telescoping steering system that creates up-and-down adjustablity without adding extra weight. Drop it down on the trail. Raise it up in the powder. The telescoping handlebar features easy one-hand adjustment with 12 positions.
New Lightweight Seat: The new blow-molded seat base is 3.5 pounds lighter and 3 inches taller than the previous design, while the tapered shape improves maneuverability for both sitting and standing.
